Igloofest has announced the lineup for its 19th edition, running Thursday to Saturday over four weekends from 14 January to 6 February 2027 in the Old Port. deadmau5, Fatboy Slim, KAYTRANADA, Boris Brejcha, Mosimann, James Hype, Chris Lorenzo, KETTAMA, Subtronics, Ninajirachi, Fcukers and Frost Children lead the bill, with more names still to come. Produced by Multicolore under the theme “Tame the Beast”, the festival expects close to 100,000 people across the run.
Montreal producer KAYTRANADA opens the season on the Sapporo stage on Thursday 14 January, preceded by a DJ set from his collaborator Lou Phelps. British DJ and producer James Hype follows on the Friday, and British house and bass house producer Chris Lorenzo plays the Saturday.
Fatboy Slim headlines Thursday 21 January, with a special guest yet to be named. Irish DJ and producer KETTAMA plays 22 January, and Australian producer Ninajirachi shares 23 January with New York duo Frost Children, who perform a DJ set.
Franco-Swiss DJ and producer Mosimann plays Thursday 28 January. That Saturday, 30 January, deadmau5 returns to Igloofest, with Canadian DJ and producer TDJ playing trance before him. No act has been announced yet for Friday 29 January.
The final weekend opens with a DJ set from New York duo Fcukers on Thursday 4 February. German techno producer Boris Brejcha plays 5 February, and American bass music and dubstep producer Subtronics closes the Montreal edition on 6 February.
Montreal artists and collectives
The festival has also named its local artists and collectives, though not yet their dates. On the Vidéotron stage, Montreal collective Ferias presents a program of house, funk, dub and acid, closing with British duo Make A Dance. Local label AMPER, which runs events across the city, also takes a turn. On the Sapporo stage, Lia Plutonic, whose sets mix house, disco, electro, bass music and soul, and the duo Isla Den (DJ set) represent the local scene.
Pep Rally brings its parties built on ghettotech, breakbeat, Latin house and electro, and Sun and Earth presents the melodic duo Hicky & Kalo. Two newer collectives round out the local programming: KNTC, which focuses on lesser-known underground electronic music, and Hauterageous, which runs inclusive rave nights for underground and marginalized artists.
Tickets, Après-Ski and other cities
Tickets go on presale Thursday 22 October, with general sales opening Friday 23 October at igloofest.ca. Details of the Après-Ski evenings will be announced in December.
Igloofest has been held in the Old Port since 2007. The festival now also runs elsewhere in Canada after the Montreal dates: Igloofest Gatineau returns for its third edition from 11 to 13 February, Igloofest Québec for its fifth from 4 to 6 March in Quebec City, and Igloofest Edmonton for its second from 11 to 13 March.
