Holly Humberstone Announces Montreal Date

Holly Humberstone has announced a North American tour that brings her to Montreal’s Beanfield Theatre on June 4. The run includes headline shows across the continent and festival appearances at Coachella, Bonnaroo, Governors Ball and All Things Go Toronto.

The tour kicks off June 3 in Boston and wraps June 28 in San Francisco. Along with the Montreal date, Humberstone will play Toronto on June 6, then hit venues like DC’s 9:30 Club, Chicago’s Vic Theatre and San Francisco’s Fillmore. Artist pre-sale starts Tuesday, with public on-sale following Friday at hollyhumberstone.com/tour.

The dates support Cruel World, Humberstone’s second album, due April 10 via Interscope. She’s already released two tracks from it, Die Happy and To Love Somebody, the latter performed on The Tonight Show in late January. The record follows 2023’s Paint My Bedroom Black and was written in daily sessions with collaborator Rob Milton.

Humberstone won the BRIT Rising Star award in 2022 and earned an Ivor Novello nomination for Haunted House. Since breaking through five years ago with her Falling Asleep At The Wheel EP, the 26-year-old has played Glastonbury, Lollapaloola and opened for Taylor Swift at Wembley Stadium. She’s built a following on detailed, emotionally direct songwriting about young adulthood, grief and family.

The Beanfield Theatre show marks her return to Montreal after playing Osheaga in 2023. Tickets go on sale February 13.
