Jacques Andre DuPont took the stage to a crowd of Verdunites and visitors to open up the 1st edition of a satellite Jazz Festival site in Verdun.
Verdun won over 16 other projects, mostly because its borough residents fully support events like these.
Verdun is getting a lot of attention in the news because of its newly opened beach and now The Festival International de Jazz de Verdun. #jazzverdun

Sylvie Demers (TD Bank) also spoke highly of the Verdun residents and their willingness to support these initiatives.
This site is 100% free and has exclusive artists that will only perform at this location.

If you find the downtown location a little claustrophobic, check out the Verdun site, steps away from the De L’Église Metro.

Véronique Tremblay (Borough Councillor), Sylvie Demers (TD Bank), Eric Meunier (Loto Québec) & Jacques-André Dupont (CEO of the Festival International de Jazz de Montreal) took to the stage to hit the gong to officialy open the Verdun Festival Site.
