Canadian artist FAWNA has unveiled her latest single, “Nola,” alongside a music video ahead of her upcoming EP Vol. 2. The new track, set to drop on October 24, features guest vocals from Ero Sin and production by Cobrayama. With introspective lyrics and a mellow yet driving beat, “Nola” delves into themes of uncertainty and self-acceptance.
The Vancouver-shot video shows FAWNA wandering through the city, unsure of her direction, mirroring the song’s key line: “I don’t know where I’m going, but I’m sure it’ll be fine.” The visual reinforces the track’s core message about trusting the process, even when the path forward isn’t clear.
FAWNA explained that “Nola” was written as a personal reflection. “I wrote this song as a letter to myself but also for anyone that has faced judgment for being different or ‘too sensitive.’ It’s a reminder that vulnerability is a strength, and to have faith in yourself even when others don’t,” she said.

Musically, “Nola” marks a continuation of FAWNA’s genre-blending sound, fusing R&B and electronica with more introspective trip-hop elements. Ero Sin’s verse adds a layer of reflection, complementing the track’s atmospheric production and adding depth to FAWNA’s soulful delivery.
Vol. 2, set for release on November 22, follows up her debut project, Vol. 1, released in 2016. The six-track EP promises to explore themes of self-discovery and resilience, drawing from personal experiences, including the loss of her parents and challenging relationships. The EP will also include tracks such as “Energy” and “Flutter,” each offering different perspectives on growth and emotional endurance.
