Deerhunter return to Montreal this Friday!

Deerhunter are an American rock band from Atlanta GA, comprised on Bradford Cox, Lockett Pundt, Moses Archuleta, and Josh McKay. They have described themselves as “ambient punk,” though they incorporate a wide range of genres, including noise, garage rock, art rock, as well as significant pop elements.

This Friday, February 22, they return to Montreal to play at Le National in support of their new album, Why Hasn’t Everything Already Disappeared?

Support comes from harpist Mary Lattimore

The new album was primarily made with Cate Le Bon in Texas with additional production by Ben H. Allen III, and Ben Etter. The first single is the harpsichord-led “Death in Midsummer.” Watch the video, where the Deerhunter and the antelope play, above.
