UK-based band Daughter made a stop in Montreal last week, one of two dates in Canada during their six-city North-American tour.
Though I hadn’t heard of this trio until recently, their young and eager audience were clearly very familiar with the thoughtful lyrics; as they fervidly sang along with every verse.
As the historical Corona Theatre echoed with Elena Tonra’s beautifully melancholic vocals, the entire audience was captivated by what was a perfect combination of overall mood, venue, and sound.
