Dame Festive will return to Lachine for its third edition on May 30 and 31, closing a stretch of Notre-Dame Street to traffic and turning it into a two-day outdoor music site. The free festival runs between 10th and 14th Avenue and will host live performances from late morning into the evening both days. Organizers confirmed the 2026 lineup on April 7.
The program includes 24 artists, with P’tit Belliveau, The Lost Fingers, Caracol, Alice Bro, Veranda, and Homebrew Remedy among those scheduled to perform. The booking leans toward folk, jazz, swing, and roots, with a mix of local acts and touring artists. Performances will take place across multiple stages set up along the street.
The event will again operate as a pedestrian zone, with roaming performers and street arts folded into the schedule. Organizers have kept the format consistent with previous editions, focusing on daytime and early evening programming that draws families as well as regular festival crowds. Admission to all shows remains free.
Food and drink vendors will be set up on site, including a group of Quebec microbreweries. Alcohol service will require the use of a reusable festival cup, a system the event introduced in earlier editions. The festival footprint sits in the heart of Lachine’s commercial strip, with local businesses participating throughout the weekend.
Dame Festive is produced by Opération Culture et Festivités de l’Ouest in partnership with the City of Montreal, the borough of Lachine, and the SDC Rue Notre-Dame. The site opens at 11 a.m. on both days, running until 11 p.m. on Saturday and 9 p.m. on Sunday.
