Exclusive Video Premier: Bud Rice – Going Through The Motions

There are more than 120,000 varieties of rice in the world, but only 1 Bud Rice and Montreal is his home.

Son of Dave Gossage, another Montreal legend, it is as if bud was born with a guitar in hand.

His stage experience alone is remarkable.

One night, you might find him singing at Hurley’s, while another night, he will be performing at the Folk Festival, the Wheel Club or one of the many concert venue we know and love.

The new single Going Through The Motions deals with the “complexities that surround a relationship between two people constantly ebbs and flows as time goes on. For some, when a romantic relationship ends the entirety of that relationship may die.”

The video shows Rice, in his home studio as the many versions of himself come and go making us reflect on where we fit in amid the multitude of ourselves.

Going Through The Motions was recorded at Breakglass Studios by David Smith, featuring Marc Beland, Dave Gossage, Jo Lorgis, Ken Press and Bud Rice.

The song is from the upcoming record Piece of Heaven.
