Bob Dylan Tribute Adds Tim Kingsbury, Patrick Stickles▪

Tim Kingsbury of Arcade Fire and Patrick Stickles of New Jersey band Titus Andronicus have joined the lineup for the Million Dollar Bash, a one-night salute to Bob Dylan and The Band at Theatre Beanfield on Friday 6 November at 7:30 PM.

The concert marks 60 years since Dylan and The Band first worked together. It covers the stretch from the first electric tour in 1966 through Woodstock, The Basement Tapes and Music From Big Pink, up to The Last Waltz in San Francisco, which took place 50 years ago this November.

Kingsbury and Stickles join Big Pink, a house band put together by Howard Bilerman of the Mile End studio hotel2tango. Its core is Mike O’Brien (guitar, vocals), Josh Toal (bass, vocals), Simon Nakonechny (organ, accordion) and Bilerman on drums, who also play together in The Firemen, El Coyote and the Key-Lites. Singer-songwriters Andrew Woods (Basia Bulat) and Campbell Woods and Plants & Animals drummer Woody Woodley complete the group. Kingsbury and Stickles have played earlier Billy Bob Productions events together, Montreal Calling in 2019 and Live Aid 40 Montreal last October.

Guitarist Frank Marino of Mahogany Rush leads the bill. He came out of retirement at a benefit at Le 9e in December 2025, and his free outdoor set in Little Italy to open Italfest in August was his first full-length concert in 16 years. Shane Murphy, who played alongside Marino at that return show, is working on the follow-up to 2024’s Easy Street.

Tom Wilson (Blackie & The Rodeo Kings, Junkhouse), a three-time Juno winner named to the Order of Canada in 2023, appears with his son Thompson. Leela Baum of The Damn Truth performs with her husband, the band’s guitarist Tom Shemer.

A second house band, Crawdaddy, features Rob MacDonald (guitar), Santo Romano (vocals, harmonica), Alec McElcheran (bass, vocals), Dan Legault (drums) and Bob Stagg (keys).

Tickets are $58 plus tax and fees at Theatre Beanfield, 2490 Notre-Dame West.
