Montreal hardcore band Béton Armé have announced a full North American tour for fall 2025, marking the group’s most ambitious live run to date. The month-long trek, titled The Renaissance Tour, kicks off November 6 at Foufounes Électriques and concludes December 12 at The Garrison in Toronto.
The tour spans 33 dates across the U.S. and Canada, with stops in major cities including New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago. It’s a significant milestone for Béton Armé, whose previous touring has largely been limited to the northeastern U.S. and Canada. Philadelphia punks Dark Thoughts will support most dates, excluding the Montreal and Boston shows.
Formed in Montreal in the mid-2010s, Béton Armé have steadily carved out a reputation within the hardcore and street punk scenes, earning praise for their tightly wound, fast-paced records and politically-charged lyrics delivered in French. Their most recent release, the À Travers Les Murs EP, was released in 2023 via La Vida Es Un Mus and received attention from underground punk outlets across Europe and North America.
The upcoming run offers Béton Armé a chance to connect with U.S. audiences on a broader scale, while staying true to their roots. Their hometown appearance at Foufs, a venue deeply associated with Montreal’s alternative scenes since the 1980s, sets a tone of continuity for a band that has always been firmly planted in local punk culture.
Tickets for most shows are available now, with further details and presale links accessible through the band’s Linktree. It’s worth noting that, despite the name, the tour bears no relation to Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour, which wrapped in 2023.
