BCNR Announce North American Tour

Black Country, New Road will cross the Atlantic this summer for a run of Canadian and Eastern US dates, opening the tour with back-to-back shows in Canada. The band play Montreal’s MTELUS on June 16, followed by Toronto’s History on June 17, before continuing through the United States and wrapping up in Boston in early July.

The tour follows last year’s Forever Howlong and marks the band’s most clearly defined North American schedule since reshaping their lineup in 2022. Support on all dates comes from Horsegirl, who will join the band for the full run rather than select shows.

After the two Canadian dates, Black Country, New Road head south for a stretch that includes stops in New York State, the Midwest, and the East Coast. The routing favours mid-sized rooms and a handful of outdoor settings, including Storm King Art Center in New Windsor, New York, before concluding July 7 at Roadrunner in Boston.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 6. Presales begin tomorrow via the band’s mailing list.

The timing places Canada at the front of the tour rather than treating it as a side run. Montreal and Toronto have both been reliable draws for the band since their early breakthrough, with previous visits selling quickly during the Ants From Up There era. A date at MTELUS signals a step up in scale while keeping the band in a room suited to their increasingly layered live arrangements.

Since moving forward without original vocalist Isaac Wood, Black Country, New Road have leaned heavily into live performance as a way of developing new material. Songs introduced on the road over the past two years now make up a significant portion of their sets, continuing the approach first documented on Live at Bush Hall. Rather than rushing into a conventional album cycle, the band have allowed new compositions to settle in front of audiences over extended touring.
