Ernest began writing with letters to the editor and decided that with the feedback from readers that he should pursue a more in-depth devotion to his labour of love. He started interviewing Rock Stars in 2017 and his connections and leads kept growing. In addition to writing for Montreal Rocks, he publishes Rock Talk via the Western Standard and the Rock Source Magazine. He also has a YouTube channel called Border City Rock Talk
