I remember when my kids were young and summer rolled around with the question that followed it: What do we do to keep them occupied.
The International Montreal Jazz Festival has you covered. They created the Family Zone with plenty of activities to keep your young ones occupied, while teasing their musical musings.

The giant piano, a-la-Big with Tom Hanks will test their ability to create a tune, or deep experimental Jazz.

They can get their face painted or do crafts.

Don’t worry, there is a bar right around the corner to calm the nerves.

When it’s too hot, take a stroll in the fountain or play in the reverse waterfalls on the main concourse leading to the TD stage.

Just around the corner, you will find a very quaint Grey Goose Market with all kinds of special treats.

Of course, exposing our kids to live music might be the spark to develop the next generation of creative musicians.
Worst case…you tire them out and return to a quiet house, kids snoring quietly, smearing face paint on the pillow.
