Piknic Électronik Unveils 2026 Lineup

Piknic Électronik has announced its 2026 season, confirming 20 events at Parc Jean-Drapeau running from May 17 to October 18. The long-running Sunday series returns for its 23rd edition with a lineup that stretches across house, techno, jungle, and bass, alongside a slate of OfF Piknic shows featuring larger international acts.

The opening weekend is led by MCRDJ, a b2b project uniting MCR-T, MRD, and TDJ, joined by UK selector Josh Baker and Montreal-based Brunello. French producer Dombresky is also scheduled early in the season, continuing his regular presence on Montreal lineups with his house-focused sets.

June programming includes Italian producer Marten Lou, Spanish duo Chus & Ceballos, and Canadian pair Sultan + Shepard. Jayda G is set to appear around Canada Day, returning to a city where she has become a consistent draw. The bookings lean toward established club names rather than crossover acts, keeping the focus on DJs with strong dancefloor reputations.

July shifts toward heavier rhythms. UK artist Nia Archives will play a DJ set, bringing jungle and drum and bass into a lineup that often leans house. Zach Fox is also billed, alongside Mandragora and Daphni, the dance alias of Dan Snaith. August remains partially unannounced, while September includes Montreal mainstay Misstress Barbara, as well as Cloudy, Prospa, and Egyptian Lover.

The closing stretch in October features Eris Drew, Beltran, and Eli Brown, rounding out a season that mixes international touring acts with repeat appearances from artists familiar to the Piknic audience.

The local programme continues on the Banque Nationale stage, with names including Gene Tellem, Kris Guilty, Mandiz, and Shadow Wizard Money Gang. Collectives such as Homegrown Harvest, Sweet Like Honey, and No Diploma Records are also scheduled, maintaining the event’s structure of pairing touring DJs with Montreal crews.

OfF Piknic events return alongside the weekly series, with early announcements including Solomun, Eric Prydz, Defected Records, Chase & Status, Four Tet, Zeds Dead, and &ME and Adam Port. These shows follow the established format of ticketed, concert-style events separate from the Sunday programming.

Organizers confirmed that Petit Piknic family days will return, along with free admission for children under 12. Site changes include a reoriented main stage, expanded shaded areas, and updates to the terrace and rest zones.
