LASSO Montreal Expands 2025 Lineup

Montreal’s country music festival, LASSO, has unveiled 15 new additions to its 2025 bill, further rounding out its fourth edition set for August 15 and 16 at Parc Jean-Drapeau. The festival will also host its downtown pre-event, LASSO in the City, on August 14.

The latest announcement builds on a roster that already included Bailey Zimmerman, Jelly Roll, Sheryl Crow, Riley Green, Shaboozey and Tucker Wetmore. The newcomers reflect both the festival’s commitment to showcasing international names and its emphasis on Quebec’s country scene.

Among the most prominent additions is American singer-songwriter Dasha, who performs Saturday and is likely to bring her charting single “Austin” to the stage. Saturday also sees the arrival of VAVO, a Canadian-American DJ duo blending country sensibilities with electronic production.

The Quebec contingent is particularly strong this year. Country-rock outfit Horsebath, francophone country-folk duo Hauterive, and Vince Lemire — known for pushing francophone urban country into the spotlight — will all make appearances. Award-winning singer-songwriter Cindy Bédard, who earned “Interprète féminine et auteure-compositrice de l’année” at the Gala Country, joins the lineup, alongside rising talents Guillaume Lafond and Rick Duff.

Three finalists from SiriusXM Canada’s Top of the Country competition, in partnership with the Canadian Country Music Association, will also perform: Noeline Hofmann, Jake Vaadeland and Sully Burrows.

The setting remains one of LASSO’s defining features. Parc Jean-Drapeau, on Île Sainte-Hélène, offers skyline views and easy metro access via the Yellow line, making it one of the few major country festivals where attendees can skip the camping gear and return to a hotel or home the same night.

Ticket prices range from $145 CAD for a single day general admission to $600 CAD for a two-day Birkenstock Sky Saloon pass, with payment plans available. Full details are listed at lassomontreal.com.

With a mix of established names, genre crossovers and local representation, the 2025 lineup reflects the increasingly diverse face of country music — and Montreal’s growing role in hosting it.
