Montreal’s Osheaga Music and Arts Festival has announced its most stylistically diverse lineup to date for its 18th edition, set to unfold at Parc Jean-Drapeau from August 1-3, 2025.
The festival’s programming reflects the evolving landscape of contemporary music, with headliners spanning multiple genres: Las Vegas alt-rock stalwarts The Killers, hip-hop innovator Tyler, the Creator, and pop phenomenon Olivia Rodrigo. Each artist will command the main stage on consecutive nights, from Friday through Sunday.
Nick Farkas, Osheaga’s founder and Evenko’s vice-president of concerts and events, notes how the festival has adapted alongside shifting musical boundaries. “Early on we were alternative, and then alternative became mainstream,” he explains to Montreal Gazette, pointing to the festival’s transformation from its indie roots to its current incarnation as a broader cultural touchstone.
The undercard proves equally compelling, featuring Grammy-winning Doechii, fresh from her recent triumph in the Best Rap Album category, and Gracie Abrams, whose profile has risen considerably following her support slot on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. The lineup also includes electronic music luminaries Jamie xx and The Chainsmokers, alongside indie rock fixtures Glass Animals and Cage the Elephant.

Canadian artists feature prominently, with 21 domestic acts scheduled to perform. The national contingent includes Toronto’s The Beaches, Vancouver-based bbno$, and a strong showing from Quebec’s music scene, with 12 artists representing the province, including Montreal’s own Bibi Club and PyPy.
In a notable programming crossover, genre-blending artist Shaboozey will make festival history as the first performer to appear at both Osheaga and the country-focused Lasso festival in the same summer.
Three-day passes go on sale February 21, with prices ranging from $415 for general admission to $1,670 for platinum packages. The festival expects to host more than 85 artists across multiple stages throughout the weekend.
