Released today, Planète Piknic Volume 02 comprises a collection of dance music tracks curated and sequenced by Piknic Electronik Montréal, bringing together established and emerging Quebec producers alongside international artists spearheading the scene.
Planète Piknic Volume 02 features a lineup of new house and techno recordings, all released for the first time as part of the compilation with music from Kora & Wuachuma, Cezaire, NoKliché, Thomas White, Lilya Mandre and silktits.
The compilation kicks off with “un Palmier Dans La Neige” a collaboration between established Montreal producer Kora and emerging artist Wuachuma. Kora’s releases on labels like Anjunadeep, Kindisch and Sol Selectas have garnered thousands of plays, and he has performed around the world in over 25 countries, while Wuachuma is early in their career.
“Having the opportunity to work with great musicians has enabled me to keep growing as a producer while learning many important life lessons,” says Wuachuma.
