Ottawa Bluesfest, one of Canada’s most iconic music festivals, is gearing up for its 30th edition with a lineup that’s sure to captivate music enthusiasts of all tastes. This year’s festivities, set to take place at LeBreton Flats from July 4 to 14, promise a diverse array of performances spanning rock, hip-hop, country, and everything in between.
Among the headlining acts announced for the milestone celebration are some of the biggest names in music. Leading the charge is none other than Canadian rock legend Neil Young, who will be gracing the stage with his band Crazy Horse as they tour their latest album. Joining Young are chart-toppers Nickelback and Maroon 5, along with hip-hop veteran 50 Cent, whose debut album coincided with the festival’s inception back in 1994.
But the star power doesn’t end there. The festival’s second weekend will feature previously announced headliners Tyler Childers and Motley Crue, ensuring that attendees will be treated to an unforgettable musical experience from start to finish.

Mark Monahan, executive and artistic director of Bluesfest, expressed his excitement about the lineup, stating, “As an internationally recognized event attracting hundreds of thousands of fans, we pride ourselves in presenting a broad and diverse lineup.”
Indeed, diversity is a key theme of this year’s festival, with acts ranging from indie darlings Mother Mother and Orville Peck to country sensation Zac Brown Band and rap icon 50 Cent. With over 100 artists set to perform across nine nights, there’s truly something for everyone at Bluesfest.
In addition to the headliners, the festival will showcase an impressive lineup of emerging talent on the RBC Stage, further solidifying its reputation as a platform for both established and up-and-coming artists.
Tickets for the 2024 Ottawa Bluesfest go on sale this Friday, with a one-day ticket presale starting at 10 a.m. The full lineup and ticket information can be found on the festival’s official website.
